RANDOM DNA/RNA MUTATOR
Help: Any numbers, spaces, star (*) and brackets (){}[] will be ignored in the input. This program will generate random mutations on a DNA or RNA sequence according to the rate of mutations you will select by applying the probability factor to each position of the query. Use the NON BIAS option to attribute the same mutation probability to transitions and transversions, or select the BIAS option to use 2/3 probability for transitions and 1/2 for transversions. Select the "Substitution mutations" option to generate only substitutions or use the "Substitution, deletion and insertion mutations" option to also include additions or deletions in the query. Please note RNA sequences will be changed into DNA prior the analysis. Uploading sequence from txt file: Upload your file with your sequence using the form provided. Notice only TXT files will be accepted. Then select the mutation rate and press the Send button.The uploaded sequence can be also edited while being in the text box. Any sequence already present in the text box prior the upload will be replaced from the uploaded one.
